Information we collect

Information you give us. When you submit our quote request form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, preferred method of contact, the year, make, and model of your vehicle, the services you are interested in, and anything you choose to tell us about your project. We only collect this because you chose to send it to us.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: IP
address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time spent, and the site or advertisement that referred you. This is
collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Advertising and analytics

We advertise on Google and on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether our advertising works, this site uses the Google Ads conversion tag, Google Analytics, and the Meta pixel. These tools use cookies to tell us things like how many people submitted a quote request after clicking one of our ads. They may also allow us to show ads to people who have visited this site before.

We do not receive your name or contact details from these advertising tools, and we do not use them to identify individual visitors.

You can opt out of personalised Google advertising through Google's Ads Settings, and of personalised Meta advertising through your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of this site may not work as well if you do.

How we use your information

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, schedule and carry out work on your vehicle, contact you about your project, and keep our own business records. We use automatically collected information to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we never have. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, and only to the extent they need it: our website platform (Wix), our email provider (Google), our advertising and analytics providers (Google and Meta), and the subcontractors we use for services such as ceramic coating. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep quote requests and customer records for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax, accounting and warranty obligations. Our paint protection film warranty runs for ten years, so customer records are kept at least that
long.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing cloakedaustin@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you no longer want to hear from us, tell us and we will stop contacting you. Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including the right to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of personal data we hold, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising. Children

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, but no website or email system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
